NYC FOOTY PROMOTIONAL CALENDAR AND DISCOUNT PROGRAMS

NYC Footy utilizes a four tier pricing system across all of our leagues. This system is based on location, field conditions, day of the week and time of day. All of which generate a desirability score that informs our pricing.

Most of our leagues will subsequently qualify for pre-fixed promotional periods early in a registration window, as well as our broader discount programs rewarding loyalty and community contributions.

Below we’ll provide details around our promotional calendar and discount programs:

PROMOTIONAL CALENDAR

NYC Footy operates on seasonal schedule, with four seasonal registration periods. Each registration period will have the following promotions:

Rollover: The Rollover period is designed to help create micro footy communities at particular locations. It is an exclusive registration window for in-season players and runs for the first week of a registration period. It often offers up to an additional 10% discount on top of early bird discounts. If the same league is not available due to permit issues, then an alternative rollover field will be provided.

Squab Goals: This is a discount period during rollover, where free agent teams are given an additional 15% discount on top of early bird to stick together and register as a full team.

Early Bird: The Early Bird window is active for the first three (3) weeks of a registration period, including Rollover. Early Bird is applied to the majority of NYC Footy leagues, with rare exceptions.

Ladies First: The ladies first window is active for the second week of a registration period and offers an additional discount on top of early bird for any female player.

Ballers First: The baller’s first window is active for the third week of a registration period (and final week of early bird) and offers an additional discount on top of early bird for any P1-Advanced player.

Double Up: Teams and players that are already registered for the upcoming season will receive a list of select leagues where they can join a second league for up to 50% off. Please note, this applies to select leagues only and will not include the most in-demand fields and locations.

Referral Week: Referral Week is where we double the credit award for players that invite a friend to join NYC Footy for the first time during that week.

Holiday Supplemental (e.g. Black Friday): During traditional sales periods (e.g. Black Friday), NYC Footy may participate by offering promotions on select fields. These promotions would include additional credits for players who register within an advertised period. The details of these promotions are determined on a season-by-season basis.

DISCOUNT PROGRAMS

At NYC Footy, we offer a range of discounts to support members of our community who have shown consistent loyalty, provided extra value, sacrificed on behalf of their community or country, or could simply use a little help.

We strive to maintain a fair and predictable process for our discount programs. Detailed information about available discounts, eligibility criteria, and terms are always available on our website, which is updated regularly.

  • Please note that all discount codes must be applied at the time of registration.

  • Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.

  • Last minute discounts (used when a team or league is in need of players to get started) are rare, non-refundable and players cannot choose which team they play on.

Our Discount Programs are as follows (note, discount codes cannot be combined):

As part of our commitment to fostering an inclusive and vibrant league, we offer a 20% discount for new female free agent players and a 10% discount for new male free agent players.

These discounts are available upon request by emailing us.

1st Timer Discount

Female First Referral Program

One of our biggest priorities is to increase the number of female members to help us achieve our goal of more on-field representation of female players.

If you refer a new female player to NYC Footy, they will receive a 50% discount to register as an individual player and you will receive $25 in credits to your account. There is no cap to the number of credits you can accumulate as long as this referral program is active.

Just email info [at] nycfooty.com and cc the player you are introducing to the community. We’ll take it from there.

Note: This is currently restricted to new female players that join as individual players (e.g. this excludes female players that are rostered on teams reserved by a team captain).

Multiple Division Discount for Captains:

Team captains with two or more teams in a given season, may qualify for a special discount on your third or additional division. Discounts vary by season and location. Please email us to inquire.

Free Agent Multiple Division Discount

If you play in more than two divisions within the same season, you may qualify for discounts based on the following schedule:

  • 15% off the 3rd division and 4th divisions

  • 25% off your 5th and subsequent divisions

Multiple Division Discounts

If you are currently a student, you may qualify for a 20% off student discount. This applies to free agent registrations or team registrations if and only if the majority of your team is made up of students.

Student Discount

In honor of your service, please accept a 20% off discount. This discount is available to current and Veteran members of the US Military, National Guard and Reserve

We know living in NYC isn’t easy. We know what it’s like to struggle for cash and forgo the things we love n order to get by.

Frequent Footy Program

This program has been restructured beginning spring 2025 to reward seasonal participation over divisional participation (e.g. playing in 10 consecutive seasons is rewarded over 10 divisions in 2 seasons). The revised program more favorably rewards consistent, longer term loyalty.

All new Frequent Footy code requests will be considered based on the below criteria.

With our Frequent Footy program you’ll earn credit towards your reward by playing with NYC Footy consistently, season after season.

Seasons are defined literally: spring, summer, fall, winter.

This is a “use it or lose it” program based on the below criteria:

Here’s how it works. If you've participated in:

  • 10 separate seasons in a 3 year period, you will earn a 10% off loyalty code.

  • 20 separate seasons in a 6 year period, you will earn a 15% off loyalty code.

  • 30 separate seasons in a 10 year period you will earn a 20% off loyalty code.

*Note, tournaments do not count as seasonal participation or qualify for the loyalty discount.

Loyalty reward codes are earned through consecutive seasons* of participation and are designed to reward individual commitment.

However, we encourage players who have earned a loyalty discount to register a full team—with a few key guidelines to prevent misuse:

  • You must be the one registering the team. The loyalty code is non-transferable and can only be applied if you, as the code holder, are the official team captain and registrant.

  • If you have earned your discount participating consistently as a team captain, then you may apply that discount to future team captain registrations, including assembling a new team of players in which to use your discount.

  • The intention is to encourage loyalty players to build a team, not to join an existing one just to spread the discount, which is considered a misuse of the code.

  • NYC Footy will not provide refunds or apply loyalty code discounts retroactively if you are part of a team but did not register as the team captain or an individual free agent.

Note: Any misuse of the loyalty code will result in revocation of the discount.

*Each season of participation, no matter how many divisions a player participates in during that season, counts as one (1) season.

How to Request a Loyalty Code

Here’s how to get it. You have to do the work.

  • Login to your account

  • Count your seasons.

  • If it's at 10 or more, send us an email. If you have multiple accounts, we can merge them.

What not to do:

  • Please don't email us and ask if you qualify, since this information is readily available in your dashboard.

  • Don't game it. Don't share it. You will lose your status if you do.

  • Stop playing. You’ll lose status if you fail to register for a minimum of two seasons in a calendar year (exceptions due to injury).
