NYC Footy is a vibrant and dynamic organization dedicated to soccer, offering mixed-gender, recreational soccer programs for adults. We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing efforts, bringing dynamism and experience to help NYC Footy continue to grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage & Execute Multi-Channel Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with management and department heads to identify and prioritize company goals  (e.g. selling out specific leagues, pushing for female players, expanding to new neighborhoods, increasing engagement…etc). Develop, budget, execute, monitor and analyze success of said marketing initiatives..

  • Social Media Management: Oversee our social media platforms, increase organic engagement and followers, manage paid campaigns, and regularly experiment with new strategies. Track analytics, report weekly on performance, and provide suggestions for improvement.

  • Blog Strategy Development: Leverage our expertise in soccer to create a robust blog strategy aimed at strengthening domain authority and enhancing SEO. Proficiency in SEO strategies are crucial.

  • Google Ads and Analytics: Execute, analyze, and manage Google Ads and Analytics. Experience with tracking pixels, conversion tracking, and reporting on key metrics is essential.

  • Content Creation Management: Lead a team of video and social media content creators, ensuring adherence to an editorial calendar and task tracker in line with business goals.

  • Local Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase consumer engagement in specific neighborhoods, supporting the growth and sustainability of local leagues.

  • Newsletter Management: Oversee the creation and distribution of our newsletter, published twice weekly.

  • Partnership Fulfillment: Manage and fulfill content obligations for our partners and sponsors, aligning with contractual requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of overall marketing experience post-graduation.

  • 3+ years experience in full-time marketing manager roles (e.g. overseeing a team).

  • Demonstrated longevity and stability in previous roles.

  • Proficiency in ad campaigns (search & social)

  • Strong skills in market analysis and presentation of findings.

  • Experience in creating content, particularly written content, is highly preferred.

  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing efforts
